What is the Health Owl Programme?
The Health Owl programme is a 12-week health and wellness plan designed to improve physical, mental and hormonal well-being. It includes nutritional strategies, exercise plans, mindset activities and scientific testing to track progress.
Why was the programme created?
The programme was created to provide a more holistic and effective approach to health and fitness. It was inspired by Stuart, one of our founders, following his own journey of losing weight but still feeling unhealthy, prompting a desire to create a better approach!
What makes The Health Owl different?
Unlike other programmes, Health Owl tracks scientific metrics like cholesterol levels, diabetic markers and overall blood health through pre and post blood tests. This data helps demonstrate measurable improvements.
What does the programme include?
Weekly menu plans tailored for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, complete with accompanying recipes, as well as weekly knowledge fact sheets, mindset activities, exercise plans with demonstrated exercises, and scientific testing.
How flexible are the exercise plans?
The exercise plans are designed to be flexible, allowing you to work out at home, in a hotel room, or even a boardroom if necessary. The aim is to build consistency without feeling pressured to exercise daily.
Do I need equipment for the exercises?
No special equipment is needed initially. If equipment is required later in the programme (e.g. if you decide to continue your health journey via THO Plus), it will be minimal and low-cost – for example, Dumbbells.
Can I do the programme if I have an injury?
Yes. The program can be adapted based on your injury or limitation. There are variations of exercises that reduce strain on specific body parts while maintaining movement.
Are dietary restrictions catered for?
Yes. The program can be adapted for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets. You can also tailor recipes if you dislike certain ingredients.
How long do the meals take to prepare?
Most meals can be prepared in around 20 minutes. Recipes that take longer, like soups and stews, can be batch-cooked to save time during the week.
Can I drink alcohol on the programme?
It’s advised to avoid alcohol during the programme, as results have shown significantly better health improvements without it.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Payments for completed parts of the programme, like blood tests and plan content already accessed, are non-refundable. However, unused portions may be refunded if appropriate.
What support is available?
Participants can reach out via the website or social media for advice and support. The Health Owl community also provides peer encouragement and recipe-sharing.
